Meet Clare and Caroline

Creating a safe, welcoming space where you can truly be seen and heard.

Clare Vincent, Senior practitioner - Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Life Coach

Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re probably right.
— Henry Ford

I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with your true self.

I am a psychotherapist, life coach, and trauma therapist with over 19 years of experience - and I still feel genuinely lucky to do this work every day.

My journey began at Childline, where I discovered a deep love for supporting young people - a passion that has stayed with me ever since. I believe we all carry an “inner child” within us, and much of my work is about helping you reconnect with that part of yourself with compassion, curiosity.

I aim to create a space that feels safe, calm, and real - a place where you can be yourself, without pressure or judgement. Therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy; there’s often room for lightness and laughter, and I believe that makes a real difference.

I am committed to continuously learning and exploring evidence-based approaches, while keeping my work grounded, practical, and genuinely helpful in everyday life - not just in theory.

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends - especially my best friend, who I am lucky enough to work alongside. I also love travelling and getting lost in a good book (my favourite is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah).

I try to meditate daily… some days I succeed, others not so much! But I do believe in finding small moments to pause, reset, and be kind to yourself - and I bring that same approach into my work.

At the heart of everything, I believe people are far more resilient than they often realise - and it’s a true privilege to walk alongside you as you rediscover that strength for yourself.

Believe you can and you’re halfway there.
— Theodore Roosevelt

I provide a space where you can feel recognised, listened to, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with your true self.

With over 19 years of experience as a psychotherapist, life coach, and trauma therapist, I still feel extremely fortunate to do work that I genuinely love.

My journey started working for a cancer charity, where I developed a strong passion for helping people through tough times. Supporting individuals affected by cancer, as well as their families, was a meaningful part of my early career and gave me a deep appreciation for the emotional toll of illness and uncertainty. This experience continues to shape my work and my dedication to supporting this client group.

Much of my work focuses on trauma, exploring how early experiences can shape how we feel, relate, and respond in the present. Together, we can gently make sense of these patterns, creating space for understanding, healing, and meaningful change. I believe we all carry an “inner child,” and my work supports you in reconnecting with that part of yourself through compassion, curiosity, and a safe, supportive approach.

I aim to offer a space that feels safe, calm, and authentic - where you can be yourself without pressure or judgement. While therapy can involve difficult work, there is often room for lightness and laughter, which I believe supports the process of change.

I am committed to continuously learning and exploring evidence-based approaches, while keeping my work grounded, practical, and genuinely helpful in everyday life - not just in theory.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends - particularly Clare, who I am fortunate to have as my best friend for over 20 years. I work out about four times a week, which is important for helping me manage my nervous system. I also love losing myself in a good book, and one of my favourites is The Names by Florence Knapp.

I work from a strong belief in your capacity for resilience and growth, supporting you in recognising and strengthening your inner resources.
